Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with community experience to work in our client’s private service, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals to live independently and enhance their quality of life. This role is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for an ongoing period.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for clients in the community.
- Providing expert advice and support to clients, their families, and caregivers.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
- Implementing evidence-based interventions to promote functional independence and well-being.
- Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a community care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities.
- Valid UK Driver’s License and access to a car as this is a community based position
