Regulatory Systems Support Manager

In order to support our continued operations across these various OTC product categories, we need to ensure that any IT systems involved in regulated activities are validated for use. This means that we can demonstrate that they are specified, designed, built, tested and maintained in line with regulatory expectations. This activity is ongoing throughout the lifecycle of the IT systems.

The Regulatory Systems Support Manager will report to the Head of Global Regulatory, and will ensure that existing and proposed validated systems such as eQMS, ArisG, Prime, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, as well as quality-controlled systems such as Teamcenter, are managed and supported in a manner to enable effective and efficient business operations, whilst maintaining compliance with appropriate regulations and policies.

About the role

• Development of the service management model, operating processes and associated key performance indicators for all supported applications
• Responsible for the investigation of incidents and problems in the supported applications, and lead the implementation of remedies and preventative measures
• Supports and conducts application service requests and changes, to ensure continued business improvement, and maintain the appropriate quality status of the impacted application
• Ensure all validated application systems are managed in the appropriate manner to maintain that status throughout their lifecycle
• Creation and presentation of appropriate service reports
• Manages the cooperation with external partner organisations, such as MasterControl, and internal service providers, such as WBA infrastructure teams
• Manages the WBA activities to ensure successful upgrade processes for externally hosted applications
• Supports ‘go live’ after the deployment of new releases
• Works with users to develop and deliver a roadmap of system improvements

What you’ll need to have

• Knowledge of computer systems validation regulations and best practice processes to satisfy these
• Knowledge of all aspects of application system implementation methods including project planning; requirements development; design review; testing stages, methodologies and tools; application system training; application system release and ongoing maintenance practices
• Knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL
• Technically minded yet business driven
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, planning and communication skills
• Capable of building trust and relationships at all levels
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks whilst under pressure

It would be great if you also have

• Demonstrate recent hands-on support (1st line) and management of eQMS and TeamCenter
