Job description
Pulse is now seeking to recruit an experienced Counsellor, to join our clients in Cambridge . This role is face to face only in Cambridge with travel across county . The post is available to candidates who can start as soon as possible, offering part time hours per week.
This organisation who work to take child sex abuse images off of the internet. They would need the right candidate to provid counselling sessions to 10 individuals who have viewed criminal content. The counselling is mandatory for the staff at least once a month. At the moment they only need candidates for 10 hours per month but this could increase due to expansion.
Ideally would need to offer hours on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays.
The trust model is 6-7 sessions of counselling, so a brief intervention for mild/moderate mental health needs, mostly presenting as anxiety or low mood. The postholder will be working with a caseload of children and families with mild to moderate mental health needs. Applying candidates require a drivers license as this role involves travelling.
