An opportunity has arisen for you to join our highly focused, dedicated staff in the role of teacher of English. Teaching across key stages 3,4 and 5 we are looking for an excellent practitioner who can deliver innovative and creative lessons which challenge and engage students to progress academically and develop personally during their time at the academy.  

The opportunity

This post would suit either a new entrant to the profession or an experienced teacher. We would welcome a teacher returning to work after a career break and will consider part time or flexible working where possible. 

We endeavour to utilise each teacher's specialism and offer the opportunity to teach A level in our sixth form centre for the right candidate.

We have around 1400 students, with 11-16 education being based on the main site, and Post 16 provision shared with our partners. The Academy is part of the Diverse Academies Trust. The Academy prides itself on working as a key partner within the Trust, but also on working with partners beyond the Trust, to ensure that we are constantly striving to research and craft the best quality education experience which works for our students in our context. The Academy is delighted to be on the list of schools to be rebuilt in the coming years, and we are confident that this will enhance the work we are doing within our community.
