Here at Hays we are recruiting a client who is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator/Assistant to join their payroll team on a 12-month FTC. The client is a large not-for-profit organisation who have a great ambition to help their employees grow their career.
Your new role - You will ensure that the payroll is accurate and support maintenance.
- Process new starters.
- Deduct tax such as PAYE.
- You will be a first point of contact for internal customers where you will provide payroll support.
- General administration.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous Payroll experience (essential).
- Really strong working knowledge and understanding of systems, processes and procedures related to payroll.
- Knowledge of PAYE legislation and HMRC requirements.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office and specialist software or systems relating to the role.
