Job Details

A rare opportunity has arisen to join a small Supported Housing provider in Mid Devon on a temporary basis. This not-for-profit organisation provides for properties for residents with disabilities and complex needs.

The position as a Housing Officer is on a temporary basis covering a small patch of homes across Devon, and offers remote working.

Responsibilities would include:

• To carry out monthly visits to the properties to meet with customers
• Managing tenancies, including drawing up tenancy agreements
• Letting void properties
• Ensuring that properties are safe and compliant
• Liaising with stakeholders and resolving any anti social behaviour cases

The ideal person would have worked within a social housing setting previously and have excellent communication skills. The ability to work independently would be advantageous due to the nature of the position, and a driving license is essential.
