Job Title - Senior Risk Manager / Risk Manager

Locations - Reading (Hybrid)

Salary - up to £75 k plus car allowance, bonus, and an excellent benefits package

Project

This is a defense programme based in central south-east England. The current phase 1 commission (secured) is the first 18 months of a 10+ year programme. The scope is to define manufacturing capability options within the existing facility versus the new build and submit the outline business case to the client. Our clients Defence business has undergone rapid growth since its inception. Today they advise a range of clients, including governments, front line commands and private sector defence organisations, where they advise on some of the most nationally significant projects. Their service lines continue to grow as well, offering commercial, procurement, project management and project controls consultancy services, drawing on our cross-sector experience and priding themselves on being able to bridge between strategy and delivering practical benefits to their clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

About you

You have a degree in engineering, construction, risk or equivalent suitable qualification. You have experience of working within a risk role in the construction / infrastructure sectors. You have a detailed understanding of risk methodologies, mitigation processes and techniques within an enterprise environment. You are a member of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and/or the Association of Project Managers (APM).

You are an expert in risk management and/or other related project controls functions. You have a working knowledge of risk quantification incl. cost and schedule risk analysis. You have demonstrable evidence of managing diverse stakeholders. You have experience in risk management process development and implementation. You have a proven ability to create new solutions to manage risk.
