Rate: Up to €350 p/d
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for all things networking? Explore Group are working with a dynamic consultancy firm who are seeking a talented Network Technician to join their Vienna team and play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing their network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly and efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Upgrade and maintain network equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot new card readers and other network peripherals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network enhancements and upgrades.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- 3 years + proven experience in troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions.
- Proficiency in upgrading and maintaining network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Familiarity with installing and configuring new card readers and other access control devices.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certification in networking (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) is a plus.
