Overview of the role
We are looking for a Pharmacist Manager to lead the Pharmacy team and to make a real difference at our pharmacy based in Hartlepool.
The Pharmacy: Close to the health centre at the bottom of the high street. located in the centre of Hartlepool with many businesses around. mix of all ages in the area and a variety of needs.
Services Provided and Items - Flu, NMS, BP, AMBP currently with the potential for others. Aprox 2,000- 2,500 per week currently with potential for more
What is the patient base like? Mix of older and younger patients
Why should a candidate work in this Pharmacy? Great potential to grow the business. has the potential to do other services with a permanent pharmacist
Facilities such as staff room, car park, access to public transport - Staff room, spacious dispensary, medium sized OTC range and large consultation room
Trading hours - 8:30am - 5:30pm, Mon- fri with alt sat
Number of care home and beds - 2 care homes - approx
Relationship with surgery - good relationship with the surgery
Does it have a separate MDS room? No
The Team: 6 currently with the potential for new staff, No trainees currently but we are hiring. staff are trained for all areas in the pharmacy
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.
You'll be focused on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.
You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
