Overview
Salary: £35,000 + Benefits
Location: Wimbledon
Key Tasks / Targets
To prepare a quarterly plan of activity to submit to the MD; setting out a well thought out activity plan and then report on the success of the plan at the end of the plan period. This will include:
- Potential areas of interest
- An agreed level of activity
Responsibilities
- To book, plan and execute trade shows and conferences
- To provide and describe the company’s solutions in innovative marketing collateral and delivering the same by post, email or other established methods of communication
- To assess competitor activity
- Participation in sourcing information for the company newsletter including collating information, copy writing, editing and final distribution.
- Intranet content and functionality management, coordinating regular reviews and updates
- Management of internal events programme
- Producing and sending out rate information of the company’s property offerings
- Management of the design and production of Marketing collateral including literature, stationery and promotional materials within the company’s brand guidelines
- Development of testimonials and case studies for all sectors
- Liaison with external marketing and communication agencies and suppliers
- Development of standard brand guidelines
- Development of brand dictionary
Internet & Online Marketing
- Social networking
- Coordinate external promotions to clients and contractors including Christmas marketing, direct mail and promotional items
- Manage external agencies when media booking, agreeing schedules and coordinating advertising activity adhering to agreed timescales and budgets
- Supporting the Sales Manager on relevant ad hoc projects
- Conceive and implement rolling competitor analysis to improve customer experience and increase market share
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience in Marketing, identifying and maximising opportunities
- Familiar with basic account management
- Mathematically competent to GCSE (Eqv.) and able to understand basic company accounts
- Degree/Formal Qualification in Marketing/English
- Experience of developing and delivery internal & external marketing communications activities across multiple sites
- Experience with software including some or all of Advanced Adobe CS4, Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign, Basic video editor. Experience in Fireworks, CSS/ HTML would be a bonus
- Proven editing and copy writing skills for a variety of print and online media
- High Competence in use of MS Office suite
- High Competence in graphics production
- Ability to work autonomously and from own initiative as well as part of a team
