Senior Business Analyst - Lloyd's / London Market Insurance - Permanent - London - Hybrid
Senior Business Analyst required for one of the leading independent London Market insurance brokers, to join on a permanent basis.
You will play a crucial role in capturing, analyzing, and designing processes for a diverse range of internal and external development projects, translate business requirements into system designs and user stories, contributing to the enhancement of the company's technological landscape.
The role sits in the Operations/IT department and will be reporting to the BA Manager, working alongside few senior and junior Business Analysts.
The role is hybrid with 1 days/week working from their London office and paying up to £75,000 base + package.
Responsibilities
- Lead interactive workshops to uncover and capture business requirements and priorities effectively
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of business requirements, culminating in the creation of high-caliber artifacts, including user stories, wireframes, data flows, process maps, and presentations
- Apply design thinking or similar methodologies to articulate needs, generate innovative solutions, and prototype for testing and validation
- Evaluate and document existing business processes, pinpointing areas for improvement, and designing optimized future-state processes
- Guide acceptance tests for solutions with the user community
- Develop, deliver, and assess process and technology training initiatives
- Effectively communicate progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between the business, IT department, and external parties
Requirements:
- Business Analysis experience in Lloyd's / London Market Insurance
- Full project lifecycle experience, from initiation to business as usual
- Strong relationship management skills across project teams and senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership acumen, as well as the ability to provide mentorship to more junior colleagues
- Excellent communication skills both in written and verbal form
- Proven organisational skills combined with strong meeting facilitation skills
- Detail orientated, process driven, logical and analytical thinker
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
- Self-starter and self-learner, with an ability to motivate others
