Job description
Position: Optometrist (6 – 8 months maternity cover)
Location: Shandwick Place, Edinburgh
Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience
Working hours: Full time or part time considered (4 or 5 days)
Level of experience: This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists who are registered with the GOC
We have an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to join our thriving store in Shandwick Place, Edinburgh. This is a maternity cover contract for 6 to 8 months with the possibility of a permanent role due to expansion within the team.
You will join an excellent team of 30 highly trained optical professionals including IP Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians, Trainee Dispensing Opticians and trained Optical Assistants as well as a fantastic leadership team who opened the store 20 years ago. Shandwick Place pride themselves on the customer experience they provide through clinical excellence.
The store boasts 8 test rooms, all fully equipped with the latest clinical technology including OCT and Nidek Phoropters.
