Job description

What you will do in your working day

As part of your apprenticeship in your daily tasks, you will also learn how to do the following:

• Place purchase orders with suppliers, utilising the business ERP system
• Issue requests for quotations (RFQs) to suppliers and collate responses
• Manage supplier order books and expedite deliveries
  Understand and implement lean methodology

Throughout the course of your apprenticeship, you will also gain experience in the following areas of the business:

• Planning & Inventory Management
• Strategic SourcingOperational Procurement
• Logistics & Warehousing

The training you will be getting

• At the end of your training you will receive a CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations
• This training will be taken both online, with one day a week to attend a college

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

• On the completion of your apprenticeship you will progress into a Supply Chain Planner
