Location could be fully remote within UK or Hybrid and may require some commuting between our Leamington Spa office and our customer office.
We are looking for multiple Automotive Project Engineers with experience delivering Electrical and Electronic components (i.e body, infotainment, chassis, powertrain, interior electronics, audio, HMI, EDS, ADAS, etc...)
Requirements
Tasks
- Support and liaise with cross-functional teams to deliver leading vehicle components and solutions.
- Plan, monitor and execute hardware and software activities to guarantee on-time project delivery.
- Support component packaging and releasing activities.
- Guide EDAG’s customers on Engineering standards and best practices.
- Plan and support key Verification and Validation activities.
- Work with suppliers to meet deliverables to cost, weight, on-time and to budget.
- Facilitate / support regular project meetings and report into key gateway reviews.
Desirable skills
- Good overall vehicle E/E systems knowledge.
- Knowledge of automotive vehicle systems and architectures.
- Familiar with Application Software development and network communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
- Knowledge of different software development for ASIL.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and experience working with Vector Tools.
- Additional Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of parts releasing and issue tracking and resolution.
- An engineering degree and/or equivalent technical experience is required for this role.
