My client, who are based in Wallingford, work within the FMCG industry and are in a rapid period of growth, expecting to continue to grow through 2024.
They are looking for several Business Development Executives to to join their fun, high performing new business sales team!
Job Description
The Business Development Executive's key responsibilities:
- Qualifying, developing and closing their own sales opportunities within their sales territory
- Attending face-to-face meetings with prospects
- Expected to develop opportunities which seek to upgrade contracts
- Add additional product categories and expansion to more sites within the companies portfolio of clients
- Manage, nurture and grow a customer base through sales skill set. with access to our wide range of food & beverage offerings the opportunity size is extensive
- Schedule regular meetings, establish where opportunities exist and execute a plan to over achieve your targets
- Problem solving queries
- Building credibility and deeper trust between your clients
The Successful Applicant
The successful Business Development Executive will:
- Be a people's person and a strong relationship builder
- Will be detail orientated
- Have a confident telephone manner
- Will be target-driven and money motivated
- Will be reliable, trustworthy, honest and fun
- Previous Sales experience is desirable, but not essential
- Working within a B2B industry is desirable, not essential
