Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Spilsby
Start Date: After Easter Half Term
Salary: £80.00 – £90.00 per day
GSL Education are seeking qualified candidates to work as Higher-Level Teaching Assistant in our client school based in Spilsby. This role is suitable for someone who is residing in the UK and have valid right to work here.
Requirements for the role:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Possession of an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one through GSL Education.
- Thorough comprehension of the primary school curriculum.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a team and autonomously.
- Commitment to nurturing a constructive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Possession of a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) certification or equivalent qualifications and experience in the role of a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
Responsibilities may include:
- Evaluate and monitor student development, offering feedback to both students and educators.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enrich expertise and understanding in the field of education.
- Monitor classes and aid students individually or in small groups.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, fellow teaching assistants, and educational experts to ensure a harmonized and efficient learning setting.
- Contribute to fostering a constructive and conducive learning atmosphere by applying behaviour management techniques.
