Job description
The Glen Hotel, Newtonmore is an award winning small hotel, bar and restaurant nestled in a small village in the Cairngorms National Park. We are at the very centre of the Scottish Highlands and the area offers excellent opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. A vacancy has arisen for an experienced chef or cook or a passionate 'foodie' willing to learn in our busy kitchen. We have a young enthusiastic team dedicated to providing simple but well prepared food over breakfast, lunch & dinner sessions. We offer an excellent package and working conditions but please note that we are unable to provide 'live in' accommodation. We will be happy to provide assistance in finding reasonable local rental accommodation. The position offered is full time and permanent - we stay open all year other than Christmas Day! Please note that applicants will be required to attend either an online or a face to face interview and possibly a trial shift.
