Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Urologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This pivotal role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing urological disorders and diseases, providing expert care for our patients. With a focus on delivering exceptional patient care, the successful candidate will play a key role in improving the lives of individuals facing urological health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of urological conditions, including but not limited to urinary tract infections, kidney stones, bladder issues, and prostate disorders.
- Perform surgeries and procedures to treat urological problems, applying minimally invasive techniques where possible.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
- Advise and counsel patients and their families on treatment options, potential side effects, and preventative measures for urological conditions.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in urology and integrate new technologies and treatments into patient care plans as appropriate.
- Participate in research activities and contribute to the field of urology through publications and presentations at medical conferences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, followed by specialised training in Urology.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) as a licensed Urologist.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of successful patient care.
- Proficiency in performing urological surgeries and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients and their families.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques.
