Job description
Currently we are seeking to hire a Shop Sales Assistant in Dungannon.
As a Sales Assistant you will work at the till, maintain a clean store and well stocked shelves. And supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations..
Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with their inquiries, providing product information, and offering assistance with purchases.
- Operating the cash register, processing transactions accurately, and handling payments.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the store, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Performing heavy lifting tasks, such as moving crates of stock or large items, to ensure adequate inventory levels and proper store organisation.
- Adhering to store policies and procedures, including following safety protocols and maintaining a tidy and welcoming store environment.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Retail Sales.
- Conversational English Language level is essential.
- English & Polish or Romanian, or Russian, or Ukrainian languages.
- Full flexibility is required, including the availability to work on day shifts: 5 days a week from Monday to Sunday, which may include bank holidays.
Desirable Skills
- Food Retail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt, prioritise tasks, and handle unexpected situations.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to learn, self-development, and a desire for success while contributing to a positive team environment and promoting our brand.
- Sales experience is preferred.
