Location: Aylesbury
Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract
Pay Rate: £35 - £40 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Occupational Therapist:
- To promote the mental and emotional health of children, young people and families in the community. Understanding their needs, identifying risk and support the family in accessing appropriate services.
- To prevent more serious mental health problems in children and young people by early identification of the development of mental health problems.
- To have a wide range of knowledge in approaches to communicating and managing care with families, children and young people.
- To have excellent communication skills and to be able to promote integrated healthcare working internally and externally.
- The Single Point of Access operates between 08:00 and 18:00 and offers flexible working patterns to both meet your needs and the needs of the service in line with the Trust blended working model, with a mixture of agile and workplace working to support your health and wellbeing
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
