Job description
What you will do in your working day
- Operations through the manufacture of sewing PVC weather guards.
- Learn & perform the basic sewing/taping skills for all businesses.
- Basic maintenance skills to keep sewing machines in proper working order.
- Hands on approach, handling specialist responsibilities in the Sewing-PVC Department such as sewing, taping, packing, final inspection, sewing machine maintenance & fault finding.
- Perform in accordance with health & safety standards.
- Undertaking training to self-develop skills in the sewing PVC department; including training and development of appraisals, communication, structures by setting & maintaining a team
culture.
The training you will be getting
- Intermediate Level 2 Apprentice Sewing Machinist Standard, including NVQ and Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.
