Teacher of Food Technology
Your new role We are seeking a qualified Food Tech Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the centre of Sheffield. You will be working across KS3 and KS4 with a range of abilities, supported by a strong team. You\'ll play a pivotal role in educating students, both in theory and practice, and will be with the school for a full term from Easter until Summer. There is scope for this to extend beyond this point for the right candidate.
What you\'ll need to succeed To besuccessful in this role, you will need to have:
- A background teaching Food Technology to secondary age students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain discipline
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the willingness to cover other subjects and year groups
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
