Are you a Senior Quality Inspector? Do you have experience using standard handheld measuring equipment? Competent using CMM machines? Confident referencing inspections to technical drawings? If so, a market leader specialising in Valves is looking to take on board a motivated Senior Quality Inspector!
Senior Quality Inspector Permanent Position ASAP Start Poole Senior Quality Inspector The Senior Quality Inspector will have the following responsibilities: - Leading the QC Inspection department. This involved close liaisons with operations department to ensure that products are routinely checked in a timely manner. Ensuring delivery requirements to customers
- Using handheld measuring equipment such as: Surface Place equipment, fixed gauging, thread gauges, verniers, micrometers and callipers
- Ensuring machined parts/subassemblies/final assemblies are in accordance to technical drawings
- Undertaking appraisals and performance review to highlight training and development needs within the quality department
- Managing external contractors responsible for new quality machinery/calibration tasks.
Senior Quality Inspector The Senior Quality Inspector will require the following experience: - Must have experience with CMM machines + Hand held quality inspection equipment
- Must have held Senior or Team Leading experienced
- Worked within a manufacturing environment
- APQP, PPAP, FAIR knowledge (Desirable)
