Are you an experienced Ecologist at Principal or Associate level, keen for a new challenge?

I am partnering with an award-winning consultancy, passionate about improving urban biodiversity and green infrastructure across the UK. The team, lead by the industries top nature and biodiversity experts, are seeking a new Team Lead for the North of England.

Role Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the Biodiversity-lead to deliver on an array of exciting projects, all with the aim to encourage a vast range of clients to delivery projects with nature positive outcomes. Not only would you have the opportunity to line manage a team of ecological consultants from day one, but you will also have the opportunity to get stuck into tendering, team development & training, and take responsibility for innovation and research projects.

You will be joining a growing business, with ambitious growth plans and an increasingly notable reputation in the industry. Therefore, this role will suit an individual who wants no ceiling on what they are able to achieve, who will bring an innovative, proactive approach to their work, who wants to not only improve their own career, but develop a team of committed consultants into future business leaders.

Qualifications / Requirements

* BSc & MSc (desirable) in related field e.g. Ecology, Conservation, Biology etc
* 8 years’ professional experience in an Ecological focus.
* MCIEEM, CEnv or CEcol all highly desirable.
* Experience line managing ecology team and completing technical reviews.
* Client liaison: tendering, networking, and business development.
* Expert understand of UK-based ecological assessment and reporting.
* Passion for nature conservation and urban biodiversity.
