Could you be AEM’s new Marketing and Communications Officer?

This is a permanent role based at our Creswell Office.

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to help us reach our ambitious goals.

AEM’s Marketing and Communications Officer will oversee the planning and delivery of our communication strategies to support business growth across AEM’s core services and sectors.

The post holder will write, edit, co-ordinate and publish content across various channels.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be responsible for creating a comprehensive content strategy and calendar and this includes tracking and reporting on the impact/outcome of content and campaigns via the website, print and online marketing materials
Produce designs that will be delivered at events. This will involve travelling to events and conferences as needed to support the business goals.
To review marketing material regularly, gather feedback and amend where required.
Assist on and produce content for sector-specific campaigns and ensure content is optimised to enhance user experience and aligned to drive engagement and conversion.
Assist with the development of proposals and other physical marketing materials and managing the content production.
Manage and develop all digital platforms (including Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
Overseeing the management and development of AEM’s corporate website and intranet (including all content updates, implementing any relevant optimisation, and ensuring compliance).
Manage the distribution of content across online channels and social media platforms to increase website traffic.
Manage the delivery of regular case studies (video/written formats).
Design and production of the annual review.
Provide support for other departments managing digital representations of the brand including our Recruitment Team.
Manage relationships with third-party web and design agencies, and create clear briefs as required for effective project requirements.
Assisting with the design of physical marketing materials (including leaflets and other promotional items).
Our ideal candidate will:

Be self-motivated, task focused and able to work proactively and independently.
Have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately whilst under pressure.
Have a proven ability to create high-quality and engaging content.
Be a confident communicator (both written and verbal) and be able to discuss content with colleagues and clients of all levels.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Be hands-on with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Have strong people skills and the ability to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Have working knowledge of key social media profiles and digital platforms (content management systems, ESP).
Have knowledge and experience of paid search social advertising and SEO.
A working understanding of marketing ROI measures and an ability to apply these measures to work.
Have the ability to work effectively with and build relationships with key suppliers.
Some experience in working with graphic design platforms such as Canva or Photoshop is beneficial.
