Salary: £150 - £200 per day

Gateshead seeks an English Teacher to join their supportive and innovative team. The head teacher seeks candidates who are ambitious and have a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes and progress in English. Essential qualities include a genuine passion for the subject and effective behavior management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, delivering, and assessing the English curriculum
- Procuring suitable books, teaching aids, and resources as required
- Implementing the school's behavior management policy diligently
- Fostering independence among students
- Providing exceptional safeguarding and pastoral support
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status
- Possesses a degree in English or relevant subject
- Demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm for the subject
- Newly qualified teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply
- Exhibits proactive, energetic, compassionate qualities
- Holds an enhanced DBS check or is willing to undergo the process
- Provides a verifiable work history
