Senior Commercial Finance Manager (15 month FTC - potential to become perm)

We work with some of the UK’s most interesting brands and we’re looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to come and join us. Armbands optional.

The Part You’ll Play as a Senior Commercial Finance Manager…

We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Finance Manager to manage the provision of commercial information within the Finance team. For someone looking to develop their career in finance, it’s an excellent opportunity that will offer you true commercial exposure.

Specifically, duties will include:

• Taking ownership for a portfolio of the agency’s clients, preparing and analysing weekly and monthly management information on revenue, recoverability, margin and utilisation
• Partnering with key departmental leads to drive commerciality in all decision making.
• Investigate and provide context to variance analysis against forecasts.
• Preparation of monthly reports, including revenue, billing and commercial performance, for senior commercial team and business leads.
• Preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly reporting directly with the client.
• Oversight of WIP and billing for your clients.
• Working with the business on client pitches, managing the commercial and contractual deliverables, with the support of a central legal team.
• Supporting with the development of new management reports and business information to support the agency.
• Management and development of a small team

As a Senior Commercial Finance Manager, You’ll Bring…

• Previous experience in a senior commercial finance role, influencing and partnering with senior leaders
• Experience business partnering in a service led industry and familiar with utilisation and recovery metrics.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate financial matters to non-finance people.
• The ability to interpret large amounts of data in a logical manner.
• The ability to work in an ever-changing, high-pressure environment.
• PC literate and proficient in the use of Excel to a high level.
• Methodical and thorough, a good organiser with strong attention to detail.
