Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Develop web applications using React and Next.js, ensuring they are highly performant and efficient.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Work closely with the backend development team to integrate with APIs and databases.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up to date with the latest web development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues and bugs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with React and Next.js in a professional or personal project setting.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Knowledge of web performance optimisation and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- A portfolio of previous web development work is highly desirable.
