Job description

Laminating Machine Operator
An exciting opportunity has come up for a Machine Operator for a food and beverages packaging company in Slough.
While full training will be provided, prior experience operating and utilizing production machinery in an industrial setting is highly advantageous.
The job involves working a 3-shift system: earlies (6am to 2pm) latest (2pm to 10pm) and nights (10pm to 6am).
The package
-£11.50 - £13.00 - depending on experience
-Plus 33%
-42.5 hours week, paid 42.5 hours (lunch is paid)
-3 rotating shifts Mon-Fri 05:45 - 14:15, 13:45 - 22:15, 21:45 - 06:15 OR Mon - Wed - 18.00 - 06.00, Monday - Thursday 06.00 - 18.00, depending on the business need.
-25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Responsibilities and skills:
-Basic computer knowledge
-Ability to multitask
-Understanding of Quality Systems would be an advantage.
-Basic numeric and literacy skills to ensure accurate recording of data
-Understand and follow production plans and Standard Operating Procedures.
-Ability to use electric pump trucks and forklifts desirable but not essential
-Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Additional information:
For this role, 3-months training will be required in Switzerland, close to Zurich. All expenses will be paid including travel home at weekends or fly over a partner, if required.
