Job description
You could be in a full or part time permanent position teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English in a further education College that gives you ongoing training and development to help you progress in your career, and the opportunity to achieve a PGCE through the college in your first two years.
You will be both challenged but rewarded in this role, by playing a key role in supporting Vocational learners with their educational development. You would join a experienced team of skilled teachers, who share best practice to engage and enthuse the resit learners.
You will preferably possess a degree in English or a related subject, with experience of teaching or tutoring English GCSE and/or Functional Skills, and have the ability to engage and enthuse 16 to 18 year olds from a variety of vocational disciplines.
The college is part of a large group of FE College, situated in Uxbridge.
