Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out various warehouse duties including picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently.
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
3. Assist in receiving and unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against delivery notes and resolving any discrepancies.
4. Operate machinery and equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks safely and accurately.
5. Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies to management promptly.
6. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve departmental targets and drive productivity.
7. Display a positive attitude and strong work ethic, demonstrating reliability and dedication to meeting deadlines.
8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the warehouse operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous.
2. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
3. Forklift or pallet truck certification is highly desirable.
4. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
6. Physical fitness and the ability to comfortably lift heavy items, as required.
7. A reliable and responsible attitude towards attendance and punctuality.
8. Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime when necessary.
