Lead Animator - 12861
Are you an animator looking for a leading role? Do you like the sound of managing an animation team to create high quality AAA animations? If so, then read on!
As a lead animator in London, you will have flexible working options allowing you to work hybrid from home. You will be responsible for the animation team and its collaborations with our production teams and artists to maintain animation consistency and implement solutions. You will have player experience at the forefront of your mind whilst developing our animation systems.
This studio is passionate about building AAA gaming experiences, offering their team the chance to have fun, do what they love and take ownership over their work on some incredible projects. Requirements
- Able to identify and resolve issues proactively whilst reporting back to relevant stakeholders
- Experience leading a team and delivering AAA gameplay animations
- An in depth understanding of modern toolsets and techniques
- Open to working in other disciplines to define animation content and pipelines
Responsibilities
- Managing and developing the animation team to ensure the best standard of AAA animations possible
- Work alongside the production team and art managers to organise the work and keep track of all risks and mitigations wherever appropriate
- Collaborate across different disciplines to identify animation requirements and implement solutions
- Organise mocap shoots and plan work with passion for creating game at the forefront
