Job description
The remit of our Emergency Care Practitioner will be to work with and on behalf of the Clinical Team at The Birches Medical Centre. The focus and main responsibilities within the role is to deliver exceptional patient care, directing experience and knowledge to patients with an array of health complaints, from minor / acute problems to chronic / long-term conditions experiencing need for Clinical advice. Highlighting and implementing management and preventative interventions where applicable. You will be responsible for advancing patient care, applying clinical decision-making based on each individual and delivering collaborative working, as a unit, with all teams situated at the surgery. Full support of both practice and locally executed policies and procedures will be required while providing leadership and direction within the practice. This role is open to Emergency Care Practitioners at any stage in their career. We have had Physicians Associates and Emergency Care Practitioners who we have supported in training in various stages of their careers.
