Location: Hybrid 2 days remote 3 days onsite in Cwmbran

Contract Length: 8 months+ extensions

Our client is in search of multiple Mechanical Design Engineers to join their team. Working on seat designs, helping to improve the maturity of the current seat modules and helping manage teams working on seat module designs and work packages.

Skills:

• Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer
• Previous experience of aircraft seating and/or aircraft interiors experience
• Experience of CATIA V5
• Leading a mechanical design team.
• Develop complex design concepts and mechanisms, BOMs, detailed design of seating components and lead successful design integration to ensure customer/airframe regulatory requirements are met.
• Responsible for applying processes and methods for product design and ensuring process compliance through change management, design optimization, DFMEA, GD&T, design for manufacture and knowledge management.
