Our company is looking to hire Marketing Assistants who will be working closely with our Management team to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies for our brands. You will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth as well as creating marketing materials. You will be giving continual feedback and presentations about our ongoing campaigns and provide administrative support to our Management and Sales teams..
Responsibilities
- Understanding the company's product and brand.
- Supporting the Management and Sales teams to develop a short to medium term marketing strategy.
- Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programmes.
- Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
- Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing.
- Maintaining a marketing database.
- Organising market research.
- Support the Management team with planning, implementing and monitoring marketing campaigns.
- Assist with the production of marketing materials.
- Help organise and coordinate marketing events such as conferences, tastings and trade shows.
- Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics in order to monitor campaign efficiency and analyse trends.
- Write and edit content for different platforms such as social media, website and press releases.
- Working within a budget assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Identification of market trends and awareness of competitor activity.
- Working with the Technical team to identify areas for new product development.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Administration or sales and marketing assistant experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Good organisation skills.
- Related job and internship experience.
Desirable Skills
- Qualification in marketing, business or related field.
- Digital marketing experience.
- Experience within food manufacturing or retail supervision.
Further Information
The Employer is: GOLDEN POPCORN LTD. Although this is a full-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
