Maths Teacher – QTS - Leicestershire – MPS/UPS
My client secondary academy, based in South Leicester, are actively recruiting a teacher of maths to join them from August in the new academic year. This position would suit an experienced teacher as well as ECTs currently completing their teacher training. This is a full time and permanent position working in a school where teachers and staff are their most valued asset. The academy has access to a wealth of support provided by a team of outstanding practitioners ensuring that teaching staff are given every opportunity to flourish and develop during their time in school. This secondary academy require a talented, enthusiastic and creative teacher to help lead the maths department to new heights of achievement. The Maths department is key to the success of the academy. They are setting high targets for the development of maths across the curriculum. The successful candidate will have access to an outstanding Trust CPD programme and will be given the opportunity to gain a future NPQ qualifications. The successful applicant will need to be up to date in terms of subject knowledge and pedagogical techniques as well as ensuring that the department functions effectively as a team. Their mathematics faculty places great emphasis on high quality teaching and learning and encourages participation in the continued review of their curriculum and assessment.
