Job Title: Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver
Location: Watford
Salary: £23,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on candidate/experience)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our client who house a dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in handling inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring the efficient storage of products, and contributing to the overall success of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the checking in, picking, packing, and dispatching of products.
• Actively contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant, and hygienic working environment through near miss/accident reporting and completion of the cleaning rota.
• Check goods on delivery from suppliers for compliance with description and freedom from damage.
• Input goods into the inventory management system and liaise with colleagues to inform them of the goods' delivery.
• Store goods in the appropriate location and under the correct temperature storage conditions.
• Perform over-labelling of secondary packaging as needed.
Requirements:
• Preferable regulated experience.
• Forklift operation experience is essential (although a small part of the job).
• A clean driver's license is essential, as minimal local driving in a Transit van is required for supplier collections approximately once every two weeks.
• Familiarity with driving within a one-hour radius of the site.
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
• 37.5 hours per week.
