Job description
Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint full time Learning Support Officer.
The Learning Support Officer will be required to manage a team of Learning Facilitators, which will include absence management, and Performance Management Reviews, ensuring that learning support is provided to learners across all curriculum areas. The Learning Support Officer will work closely with the Learning Facilitators and Lecturers to ensure a fully integrated approach to supporting individuals or groups of students.
The Learning Support Officer will provide support for students who require learning support due to learning difficulties and/or disabilities, to ensure they achieve their qualification aims and reach their potential in all areas of the college curriculum to include Adults and Apprenticeships.

Suitable candidates should possess a Level 3 qualification and 5 GCSEs, including Math’s and English, and should hold or be willing to work towards relevant professional qualifications. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the concept of Inclusive Learning and it is desirable that you have proven experience of working with people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in education.
