Job description
Global specialty lines (re)insurer. One of the leading insurers in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market
To assist Underwriters by providing and maintaining account documentation and premium information.
Duties
- Managing central mailboxes and maintain all underwriting account file information.
- Ensuring documents are stores according to audit requirement
- Tracking both upcoming renewals and new account information
- Detailing weekly claim reports, managing premium tracking information, managing underwriters account peer reviews, and producing other ad hoc reports.
- Liaising with credit control monthly and investigating premium discrepancies
- Central contracts point for onshore operations and WNS to maintain administration effectiveness.
- Use & management around Lloyds online underwriting platforms
- Managing’s underwriters’ administration fulfilments & assisting or chasing where appropriate
- Managing Binder premium tracking & liaising internally on bordereau’s
- Liaising & managing administration duties with the CAT, Claims, Wordings, Compliance and Reinsurance teams
- Engaging with brokers
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of underwritings, slips, endorsements, wordings, and binding authorities
- Excel skills
- The ability to also work alone & using initiative
