Job Advert: Forklift Driver Reach in Barnsley (Permanent)

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift truck, specifically the Reach model, in a busy warehouse environment.
- Perform daily pre-checks and basic maintenance on the forklift to ensure its optimum functioning.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
- Accurately pick and load products onto pallets, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods.
- Unload goods from incoming vehicles and store them in designated locations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies or damages to relevant supervisors.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to achieve efficiency and meet the set targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the forklift truck, ensuring high standards are upheld.

Qualifications:
- Valid forklift license/certification for Reach trucks is essential.
- Proven experience operating a Reach forklift in a warehouse or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations regarding forklift operations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating strong teamwork abilities.
- Physical fitness and stamina to comfortably lift and move heavy objects.

This role: 

Temp-to-perm

Weekly pay.

Monday - Friday

14:00pm - 22:00pm 

Immediate start.

For this role you must have an in date full FLT reach licence.
