The Role

As the People Team Administrator you’ll play an integral part in how OQC grows as a values led company, creating revolutionary Quantum Computing technology. You’ll get to work across both HR and Talent Acquisition and play a key part in ensuring we hire and retain world class talent. 

You’ll work closely with our TA Manager and TA Associate to help create internal/external facing job specification and adverts, take detailed notes from stakeholders for all new requirements and ensure our ATS (Workable) is up to date.

You’ll also provide support to our People Team Co-ordinators, helping manage employee life-cycle activities, such as: contracts, offer and onboarding.

Other Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the reviewing policies, principles, handbooks and process manuals
• Preparation and distribution of letters (validation, pension, etc.), contracts and agreements 
• Preparing data for reports 
• Maintain HRIS software and keeping employee records up to date 
• Drive improvement in diversity, inclusion and engagement

Candidate Requirements

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the business
• A creative mind who isn’t afraid to come up with new and innovative ideas
• An interest in HR and/or Talent Acquisition 
• Comfortable with google tools, particularly google sheets (including sumif, counta, pivot tables etc)
• Content writing experience
• Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills
• Discreet and empathetic approach to handling sensitive information

Desired Skills

• Start-up or tech industry experience
• Experience of google workspace, Workable, Charlie HR and/or Lattice 
• Experience in similar role
• An interest in deep tech or Quantum Computing
