Your new company

The client is an engineering services design practice based in London, UK. They offer a range of services including building simulation, sustainability, and engineering services design. They have a team of engineers dedicated to delivering sustainable, practical, and innovative engineering solutions.

Your new role

You will also be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Part L of the Building Regulations, as well as an understanding of the inputs required for a range of analyses including thermal comfort, daylighting, heat loss and cooling loads, and other building related performance calculations. Experience in both residential and commercial applications is preferred. Knowledge of other industry software packages relating to CFD, daylighting or building simulation is welcomed.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Good user of EDSL Tas software with at least 2 years of experience. Good knowledge of IES-VE is advantageous.
• Analytical, methodical and has the hunger to self-learn. * Very good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Advantageous to have a mechanical engineering background.
• Able and confident to do write-ups and communicate with the design teams.
• Having Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA) accreditation is not essential, but it will be very advantageous if the candidate is accredited to do Level 5 EPCs, or levels 4 or 3.
• Has some knowledge about daylighting.
• Familiar with SAP assessments or at least has the experience of operating the software
