Job description
Minster in Challow is recruiting now for Warehouse & Yard Assistant. We are a construction materials supplier with an extensive range of insulation, roofing and dry lining products.
As a Warehouse & Yard Assistant, you will have one of the most important roles within the branch network.
What will I be doing in the role:
Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles
Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
Maintain stock levels in the yard and warehouse areas, carrying out regular stock counts
Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
Working both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard, whatever the weather
Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
Working Hours: This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5pm
Suitable Applicants will ideally Be/Have:
Proven experience working in a similar role, either in a warehouse or a yard
Experience in a customer facing role.
Experience with Fork Lift Truck driving would be beneficial, however full training will be given
Methodical, with the ability to prioritise workload.
Good communication skills and a team player.
