Job description

EMEA P2P Manager, reporting to the EMEA Accounting Shared Service Manager on a permanent basis based out of Windsor or Kidderminster but working remotely 3-4 days a week. Foreign travel will be needed for this role. You will have 8/9 direct reports Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the entire Procure to Pay process, from procurement requisition
Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments
Develop and administer payables processes from point of receipt of third party
Ensure all aspects of the payables function are in line with group accounting policy
Responsibility for all postings in relation to payables e.g. posting cash to supplier accounts
Ensuring all postings comply with relevant tax legislation e.g. reclaiming VAT, deductibility
Review and approve monthly Purchase Ledger Account Reconciliations and GRNI
Ensure costs are accurately input by team to general ledger via understanding of the chart Review contract terms and conditions for new suppliers
When necessary, step in to support the resolution of supplier account queries
Lead setting of cash spend targets as part of forecasting and budgeting processes
Analyze end-to-end P2P processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement
Conduct thorough process assessments, collect data, and identify bottlenecks and root cause
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to provide insights into P2P
Lead employee expenses activities:
Develop and administer expenses processes from point of claim through to point of payment
Drive standardisation across all of EMEA, ensuring processes and procedures are fully documented
Lead best practice and lean initiative improvements in the function To apply for this role you must have purchasing & accounts payable/purchase ledger experience, strong management & leadership skills – having managed or supervised a small team. Experience of improving processes, procedures and systems is also a must and the ability to communicate in at least one other European language is desirable. Experience of working with teams remotely in different countries/with different cultures is also ideal
