I am currently recruiting for a Payroll Officer for my client who are based in the Leigh area. This role will be working for a recognised organisation who have recently expanded due to huge success in the past few years. The succesful candidate will be tasked with the following duties:
- Monthly production and maintenance of own payroll groups
- Setting up new startes and recent leavers
- Provide readily available point of contact for associates and other appropriate bodies
- Dealing with any employee queries regarding wages
- Dealing with employee expenses and staff credit cards
- Distribution of final & payment run reports & manage returns
- Assist with cash book reconciliation & non-compliance reporting
Essentials are
- The ability to re-calculate overpayments and manual payments
- Previous experience in a payroll position
- Possesses a good level of technical skills, (Word/Excel/and Payroll systems)
- Confident telephone skills with a customer service approach
