Job description
Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer required to join a leading engineering manufacturer of fluid systems near Cheltenham.
Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer will manage the sales process including generating quotations, processing orders, raising purchase orders and invoices, documentation, proposals and other aspects of sales support.
Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer ideally will have experience in fluid systems such as with valves, steam traps or similar mechanical engineering products/services such as pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressed air and regulators.
This role will also be suitable for someone who has recently graduated and looking for a career in Engineering.
Package
Up to £38,000 depending on experience
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Role
- Provide technical advice and guidance on various fluid systems such as with valves, steam traps or similar mechanical engineering products/services such as pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressed air and regulators.
- Generate tailored quotations and proposals for valves, steam traps and associated products to meet customers’ requirements.
- Manage sales process including handling enquiries, providing technical support and offering solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical support and all other aspects of sales support - e.g., sales orders, order processing, expediting, purchase orders and documentation.
- Product specification advice and after sales support of valves, steam traps and fluid systems.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Commutable to the office near Cheltenham.
Requirements
- Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Technical Advisor, Technical Sales Engineer, Technical Coordinator or similar within the engineering industry.
- Experience in fluid systems such as with valves, steam traps or similar mechanical engineering products/services such as pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressed air and regulators.
- An engineering technical qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or degree would be highly desirable.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Commutable to office based near Cheltenham.
