Job description
Robert Half are delighted to partner exclusively with Camfaud, an industry leading concrete pumping business and are seeking a new management accountant to assist in the production of month end management accounts and maintain financial controls. This role will ideally suit a progressive candidate with month-end experience, project experience and someone keen to develop within an environment with an appetite for constant improvement. As a Management Accountant, you will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller and assisting other stakeholders within the company.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly regional P/L
- Provides regular management information through monthly KPI reports
- Contribute to P&L budgeting and reforecast process.
- Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT returns
- Maintain and improve internal controls, processes and procedures.
- Managing and supporting with the Internal/External Audit requests
- Provide support with queries to the Credit control, purchase ledger and sales ledger teams.
- Financial analyses - ability to analyze financial data and interpret trends to aid decision making.
- Comfortable with using different accounting and non-accounting software & other relevant tools.
- Supporting and being part of various projects and analysis work
Role Requirements
- 2 - 3 years in Accounting and Finance
- A part-qualified / qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Desire to make a difference within the finance team.
- Manages time effectively to meet deadlines for financial reporting and other responsibilities.
- Great communication skills with ability to manage up and down the chain of command.
- Works well within a team and able to build good relationships across all stakeholders.
- Advanced excel skills
- SQL experience/ Data analytics
