Job description
What you will do in your working day
As an apprentice maintenance engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the:
- Repair, development, and maintenance of machinery and assembly line equipment
Your responsibilities will include assisting with various tasks related to equipment repair and improvement:
- You will be involved in daily reporting of work completed, ensuring accurate documentation of tasks and achievements
- Additionally, you will contribute to spare parts stock control, monitoring inventory levels, and reporting any requirements to ensure seamless operations
- Maintaining cleanliness in the workshop, equipment, and tools will be essential to uphold safety standards and optimise efficiency
- Your role will provide valuable hands-on experience in the maintenance field, allowing you to develop practical skills and contribute to the smooth functioning of the maintenance department
The training you will be getting
- Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Day release to college is required
