Salary Range: £13-£17 per hour

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Streetlighting Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the maintenance and installation of street lighting systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of street lighting fixtures and systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in streetlighting equipment.
Install new streetlighting infrastructure according to technical specifications.
Perform upgrades and modifications to existing streetlighting installations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
Keep accurate records of work undertaken and materials used.
Requirements:
Proven experience in streetlighting maintenance and installation.
Knowledge of electrical systems and components relevant to streetlighting.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
