ASB Liaison Officer
Tower Hamlets

Full Time
We are searching for a prospective Anti-Social Behaviour Liaison Officer to join a team based in Tower Hamlets on a full time, temporary basis. The ASB Liaison Officer will provide a quality first response to residents and victims of ASB as well as providing high quality administrative support to the ASB Service. The role involves assisting with ASB case work, investigating complaints, maintaining appropriate records, and liaising with staff and service users.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of housing, civil, and criminal law, including the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime, and Policing Act 2014
- Empathetic and respectful towards residents/customers, value diversity
- Ability to work positively within their own team and the wider team
- Ability to use initiative when operating alone and works well under pressure
- Basic DBS check required
Role Expectations
- Provide a quality first response to residents/victims and escalate to team members as appropriate.
- Provide administrative support and assist ASB Officers with casework
- Log all reports of ASB and assign to appropriate team members
- Work alongside the local Council's Housing Options Centre providing alternative and emergency accommodation for high risk cases
- Responsible for submitting invoices and purchase requisitions
- Liaise with external partner agencies and work collaboratively
- Work flexibly, including attending evening and occasional weekend meetings
